Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour

About the Role:
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will provide essential support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them navigate their educational journey. Your role will involve working closely with classroom teachers and support staff to implement learning strategies tailored to individual students.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing 1:1 or group support to students with SEN in the classroom.
  • Assisting teachers in implementing individual learning plans.
  • Promoting an inclusive, positive learning environment.
  • Helping manage student behaviour and encouraging social development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN is highly beneficial.
  • A positive attitude and a nurturing approach to supporting children.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and patience.

To work with GSL Education as an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.

  • Have a DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
