GSL Education are working alongside a school in Tameside (M34) to find a Humanities Teacher to deliver specifically History to KS3 , and KS4. However any Teaching specialism in Humanities is encouraged to apply as the school can accommodate. The school offers a range of bespoke high quality educational care for young people within a safe and homely environment and has been specifically designed to support individuals in leading active and independent lives.

Humanities teacher responsibilities:
- To deliver high quality learning that engages the children and ensures solid understanding
- To have excellent subject knowledge
- Communicate well and establish excellent relationships across the school community
- Commitment to teamwork with a proactive approach
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Well organised, efficient and professional
- To be an inspirational, reflective and empathetic practitioner
Qualification/experience:
● Relevant teaching qualification with QTS or the equivalent- as this is an independent school it is at their discretion if you need to have QTS or not
