Location: Winchester
Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 per day
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-Time

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalised support to individuals facing mental health issues. You will work closely with a team to ensure that each individual receives the care and encouragement they need to thrive in their daily lives.
Responsibilities as a Mental Health Support Worker:
- Provide individualised support to individuals facing mental health challenges, ensuring their specific needs are met.
- Assist in creating and implementing personalised care plans that address the unique requirements of each individual.
- Foster a supportive and nurturing atmosphere that promotes mental well-being and encourages positive interactions.
- Regularly monitor and document the individual's progress, offering constructive feedback to facilitate personal growth.
- Encourage participation in social and recreational activities to enhance overall well-being and improve social skills.
- Work alongside other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for individuals in need.
Requirements for the Mental Health Support Worker Role:
- Previous experience in a Mental Health Support Worker position is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of mental health issues and relevant safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with individuals and their families.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
- A patient and understanding approach, when facing challenging behaviour.
