SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Hayling Island
Rate: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-Time

GSL Education invites you to apply for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant at a lively school in Hayling Island. This is your chance to work closely with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and help them unlock their potential in a supportive learning environment.
In this role of a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, you will be a beacon of support and encouragement for students, working hand in hand with teachers to create engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. Your contribution will ensure that every child feels valued and has the tools they need to succeed.
What You Will Do:
- Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist in crafting and delivering engaging lessons that captivate students.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that nurtures every student’s growth.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback that fosters improvement.
- Offer support during breaks and extracurricular activities to enhance social skills.
- Help maintain a vibrant and safe learning atmosphere for all.
What You Bring:
- Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is advantageous but not essential.
- A solid understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection policies.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Ability to adapt to individual learning needs and preferences.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
