Job Title: Physical Education (PE Teacher)

Salary Range: £125 - £155 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: ASAP
Contract: Daily Supply, Long term

GSL Education Newcastle Branch presents an exciting opportunity to join vibrant schools in Gateshead as a Teacher of Physical Education (PE), where you will play a vital role in nurturing young talent and instilling a passion for sports and physical activity.
As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will inspire students to enhance their skills, promote teamwork, and boost overall fitness while delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum that transforms the way they view physical education!
Responsibilities of the PE Teacher:
- Create and teach fun PE lessons that follow the national curriculum.
- Adjust the lessons to fit the needs of students in different Key Stages.
- Give one-on-one and small group support to help all students do their best.
- Work together with other teachers to improve the PE program.
- Keep track of how students are doing and give feedback to help them improve.
Requirements of the PE Teacher:
- QTS or equivalent, such as PGCE or ECT.
- A degree in Physical Education or Sports-related field.
- Strong sports experience, either through coaching or competitive sports involvement.
- Solid understanding of the PE curriculum with experience across various Key Stages.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for physical education and a dedication to promoting an active, healthy lifestyle.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
