Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Southbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to help create an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
About The Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support for students with diverse learning requirements. Your role will be crucial in fostering a nurturing atmosphere that encourages personal and academic growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and adapted lessons.
- Help create a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and report feedback to the teaching staff.
- Support students during school activities, break times, and transitions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is desirable.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs of students.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
