Job Title: Teaching Assistant 1:1
Location: Winton
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour
Contract Type: Full Time / Part Time
Start Date: Immediate
Are you passionate about supporting students on their educational journey? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant 1:1 to join a nurturing school in Winton. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a student who needs personalised support.
As a Teaching Assistant 1:1, you will work closely with an individual student, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their learning goals. Your role will involve providing tailored support, ensuring that the student feels confident and included in the classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide focused one-on-one support to a student with additional needs.
- Assist in the delivery of tailored lesson plans to meet the student's specific learning requirements.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere to promote the student’s confidence and independence.
- Monitor the student’s progress and communicate effectively with teachers and other staff.
- Support the student during school activities, including break times and transitions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
- Understanding of the needs of students with additional learning requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
