English Teacher
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £120 - £250 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications
Start Date: Immediate start available
GSL Education are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher for a secondary school in Maidstone. The successful English Teacher will inspire students across Key Stage 3, 4, and possibly 5, delivering high-quality English lessons that promote literacy development, critical thinking, and a love for reading.

As an English Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging English lessons tailored to meet individual student needs.
- Assessing and tracking student progress in line with the national curriculum.
- Providing constructive feedback to students, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
- Participating in extracurricular activities, such as literature clubs or theatre outings, to enrich the learning experience.
The ideal English Teacher will have:
- A degree in English or a related field, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching English
- to secondary school students.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
