Location: Spalding
Salary Scale: £100 - £140 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: October 2024
Contract Type: Long-Term Temporary, Full-Time

GSL Education Lincoln is currently recruiting a Cover Supervisor to work across a progressive school in Spalding. We are seeking a confident and adaptable individual who can provide effective cover for teachers during planned and unplanned absences, ensuring continuity in students’ learning and maintaining classroom discipline.
Cover Supervisor role:
The successful Cover Supervisor will be working as part of an energetic and supportive team, delivering pre-set lesson plans to students and ensuring a productive learning environment. You will supervise students across different subjects and help them stay focused and engaged in their work.
The successful candidate will:
- Be confident in managing a classroom and maintaining student behaviour
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be able to follow lesson plans and ensure learning objectives are met
- Be adaptable and able to work across various subjects and age groups
- Have experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
