Salary: £25 to £30 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/ Full-time

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently collaborating with an outstanding school located in Sheffield that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide personalised educational support to students, helping them achieve their full potential.
The Role:
As a Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students’ academic journeys. You will provide advanced tutoring sessions, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each student. Your primary goal will be to enhance their understanding of subjects, boost their confidence and improve their overall academic performance.
Responsibilities of the Tutor:
- Provide tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects for school students, ensuring students grasp complex concepts with ease.
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that align with the student’s curriculum and learning style.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
- Have previous experience in a tutoring or teaching role with school students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.
- Have strong subject knowledge across various school subjects.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
