Salary Range: £95 to £120 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school in Sheffield (S35).
As a Secondary Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students complete their assigned tasks and follow the lesson plans provided. You will maintain a positive learning environment, support students' work, and handle behaviour management. This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience in education and develop your classroom skills.
Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise classes and help students stay focused on their work.
- Keep a positive and productive classroom.
- Assist students with their questions and tasks.
- Manage behaviour by following school rules.
- Share feedback with teachers about class progress and behaviour.
Requirements of the Cover Supervisor:
- Experience working as a Cover Supervisor in classroom setting is desired.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Confidence in supervising and engaging with students.
- Ability to follow pre-set lesson plans and instructions.
- Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects.
- A passion for education and supporting students' learning progress
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
