Job Title: Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 Annually (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Start: Immediately or January 2025

About the role:
As a SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing tailored lessons that foster their academic and personal growth. Join us to help create a nurturing environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential!

Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:

  • Create and teach lessons that motivate and engage students with special educational needs.
  • Use individualised education plans (IEPs) and strategies to support their learning and personal development.
  • Build a positive classroom environment that encourages independence, resilience, and self-control.
  • Work closely with other staff, parents, and outside agencies to provide well-rounded support for students.
  • Track student progress and give helpful feedback, offering extra support when needed.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience of working in a secondary school is preferred.
  • Experience of working with SEN students.
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions, including behaviour management techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
