PE Teacher
Location: Huddersfield
Start date: November 2024
Payrate: £140 to £190 per day
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-time
GSL Education South Yorkshire branch are seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to work in schools across Huddersfield. If you are a PE Teacher who enjoys motivating students and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle, this is a fantastic role for you.
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a range of physical education lessons that cater to different fitness levels and interests. We are looking for a PE Teacher who can inspire students to participate actively in physical activities and achieve personal fitness goals.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons aligned with the UK curriculum.
- Encourage student participation and engagement in sports and physical activities.
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition.
- Assess and monitor student progress.
The successful PE Teacher will:
- Hold relevant teaching qualifications and have experience teaching PE in UK schools.
- Be passionate about sports and physical education.
- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Please note that this role requires a sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection. All applicants must pass the relevant safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
