About the role:
As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning for students in the absence of their regular teachers. Your responsibilities will include delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting students to ensure they stay engaged and on track.
Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage classroom behaviour.
- Support students in their learning and engagement.
- Adapt to various classroom settings and subjects.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- A relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent) is desirable.
- Experience working in a classroom setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of learners.
