About The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be an essential part of the classroom team, providing support to both teachers and students. If you're a motivated individual who enjoys working in a school environment, this Teaching Assistant role is perfect for you.
Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons.
- Helping children with their learning, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
- Assisting with classroom management and organisation.
- Encouraging and motivating students to engage in their learning.
- Supporting children with additional needs to ensure they are fully included in the classroom.
- Working with other staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
To be a successful Teaching Assistant, you need:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable, but not essential.
- A passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to motivate students.
- A strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
To work with GSL Education as a Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
- Two references from within the last 2 years.
