About The Role:

As a Classroom Support Worker, you will play a key part in helping students succeed by providing essential support to both the teacher and the children. Whether you're assisting with classroom activities, offering one-to-one help, or ensuring the classroom runs smoothly, your impact will be invaluable.

Responsibilities as a Classroom Support Worker:

  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and managing the classroom.
  • Assist individual students or small groups with their learning.
  • Help with classroom organisation and preparation of materials.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage students to engage in their learning.
  • Monitor student progress and report back to the teacher.
  • Help create a safe and welcoming learning environment.

Requirements for the Classroom Support Worker role:

  • Previous experience working in a classroom or with children is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A patient, caring, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to manage behaviour and motivate students.
  • A desire to help students succeed in their education.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

As a Classroom Support Worker, you will be making a real difference in the lives of children, helping them grow in confidence and achieve their academic goals.

To work with GSL Education as a Classroom Support Worker, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
  • Two references from within the last 2 years.
