Teaching Assistant
Location: The New Forest
Salary: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to be recruiting a passionate Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing school located in The New Forest. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support the learning and development of primary school students while working in a beautiful and tranquil setting.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting both students and teachers, helping to create a positive and engaging educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students, both one-on-one and in small groups, to address individual learning needs.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
- Promote a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all students.
- Monitor and report on student progress to teachers, helping to identify areas for improvement.
- Help supervise students during breaks and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience as a Teaching Assistant (preferred but not essential).
- Show enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development.
- Be a great communicator and team player, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Have knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Possess or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
