Teaching Assistant
Location: Romsey
Salary: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive school in Romsey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with both teachers and students to foster a positive, stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and small group support to students, catering to their individual learning needs.
- Assist in lesson delivery, ensuring all students are engaged and supported throughout the learning process.
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation from every student.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers, aiding in the continuous improvement of student learning.
- Support students during school activities and breaks, promoting their well-being and safety.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (advantageous but not essential).
- Be enthusiastic about supporting students' education and overall well-being.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with staff and students.
- Be aware of safeguarding and child protection procedures to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Possess or be able to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
