Teaching Assistant
Location: Locks Heath
Salary: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive and dynamic primary school in Locks Heath. This position is ideal for individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of young learners.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist in creating a positive and engaging learning environment, helping students to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to students, addressing their unique learning needs.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery to enhance student engagement.
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere in the classroom that promotes participation from all students.
- Supervise students during breaks and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Monitor and report on student progress to teachers, offering insights that can inform instructional strategies.
The successful candidate will:
- Have prior experience as a Teaching Assistant (preferred but not essential).
- Be passionate about supporting children’s educational and personal development.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Be familiar with safeguarding and child protection protocols.
- Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
