Teaching Assistant
Location: Gosport
Salary: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work at a client school in Gosport.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students reach their full potential, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist students one-on-one or in small groups to address their unique learning needs and boost confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers: Aid in the delivery of engaging lessons by preparing materials and adapting resources to suit diverse learning styles.
- Create an inclusive atmosphere: Foster a supportive environment where all students feel safe, respected, and encouraged to participate.
- Supervise during breaks and activities: Engage with students during non-classroom times to promote social skills and positive interactions.
- Monitor student progress: Track academic and social development, offering constructive feedback and communicating with teachers and parents about individual student growth.
The successful candidate will:
- Have prior experience as a Teaching Assistant (desirable).
- Be passionate about supporting children’s learning.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Have strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
