Maths Teacher
Location: Hackney
Salary: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long Term/Permanent, Full Time
Are you a passionate and inspiring Maths Teacher looking for an exciting new role? A fantastic secondary school and sixth form in Hackney is seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their dynamic team! This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths Teacher who is eager to make a real difference in students' lives and help them excel in their studies.
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students across KS3, KS4, and KS5. You’ll foster a positive learning environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential in maths.
Mathematics Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative maths lessons to students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress of each student.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals and improving their maths skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a strong team ethos.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
Mathematics Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary and/or sixth-form level
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and exam board specifications
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students
- A proactive and flexible approach to teaching
