GSL Education Bournemouth Branch are currently collaborating with an outstanding SEN-based school that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their team. SEN Teacher
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £30000 - £46535 Per Annum, depending on experience
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/ Full-time

Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:
- Craft and implement lesson plans that accommodate the varying abilities and learning styles of SEN students.
- Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, employing effective behaviour management techniques to support student engagement and learning.
- Work closely with parents, colleagues and external professionals to develop and implement effective support plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Stay abreast of the latest educational practices and SEN strategies, engaging in continuous professional development to enhance your teaching efficacy.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Have a specialised teaching qualification (PGCE or QTS).
- Proven experience as an SEN Teacher within an SEN-based educational setting. Additionally, experience in Behaviour Management is required.
- Have an understanding and compassionate approach to helping the students in an inclusive learning environment.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of special educational needs and effective teaching methodologies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps)
- An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
