We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team and support the smooth running of lessons in the absence of class teachers. You will play a vital role in ensuring that students continue their learning with minimal disruption and maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.

Location: Chelmsford
Salary Scale: £75-£100 per day
Contract Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise students during lessons, ensuring that they remain on task and complete the work set by the class teacher. You will provide support and assistance where needed, manage behaviour in line with school policies, and ensure a positive learning environment is maintained.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with young people is advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage groups of students effectively
- Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting student learning
