The Role:
GSL Education are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Supply Teacher to join our client’s primary school in Christchurch. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers (QTS), trainees, and those with experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to make a significant impact on the educational journey of young learners.

As a Supply Teacher, you will be vital in ensuring a smooth learning experience while supporting students in reaching their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of primary school students from year 5 to year 11.
  • Adapt lessons to cater to diverse learning abilities, ensuring all students can thrive.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student participation.
  • Collaborate with staff to maintain a cohesive educational experience for all students.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Uphold the school's values and commitment to safeguarding.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), be a trainee teacher, or have experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Prior experience as a Supply Teacher in schools.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and key stage requirements
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and a dedication to fostering student growth.
  • Exhibit strong behaviour management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, colleagues, and parents.

To work with GSL Education as a Supply Teacher, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
