1:1 Secondary Tutor
Location: Rotherham (S61)
Salary: £25 to £30 per hour, depending on experience
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/ Full-time

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently collaborating with an outstanding school located in Rotherham that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Secondary Tutor to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide personalised educational support to students, helping them achieve their full potential.
The Role:
As a 1:1 Secondary Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualised tutoring sessions that cater to the specific needs of each student. Your role will involve assessing students' learning needs, developing tailored lesson plans and providing focused support to help them succeed academically.
Responsibilities of the 1:1 Secondary Tutor:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects for school students, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Design and implement customised lesson plans that address the unique needs and goals of each student.
- Offer additional support and resources to students, helping them overcome any academic challenges they may face.
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents and school staff to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's education.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
- Have previous experience in a tutoring or teaching role with school students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
- Have strong subject knowledge across various school subjects.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
