Job Advert: Complex Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Hackney
Salary: £90 to £110 per day (dependent on experience)
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a special school in Hackney. This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience supporting students with complex needs in an educational setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with complex needs, including physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
- Work closely with teachers to implement personalised learning and support strategies.
- Promote the development of social skills and help manage challenging behaviours.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
Requirements:
- Experience in an SEN setting, preferably with students who have complex needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to supporting vulnerable children.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
