PSHE Teacher

Location: PLYMOUTH 

Salary: £100-£140

Start date: Immediately.

Contract: 3 days a week 

GSL Education Plymouth is actively seeking dynamic PSHE Teachers to bring enthusiasm and innovation for a SEMH school for KS3-4 pupils in central Plymouth. If you are an experienced PSHE educator with QTS, seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to inspire and support students’ personal, social, and emotional development, this role is perfect for you.

As a PSHE Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons that support the development of essential life skills, wellbeing, and moral education. Your expertise in handling sensitive topics such as mental health, relationships, and citizenship will be highly valued.

As a PSHE Teacher, you will be expected to:

  • Deliver engaging, thought-provoking PSHE lessons that inspire personal and social development.
  • Adapt to different classroom settings, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Empower students to engage actively in lessons, assignments, and class activities.
  • Promote a positive, respectful culture that encourages lifelong learning and personal growth.

Requirements:

  • Must have QTS.
  • Proven experience in teaching PSHE or similar subjects.
  • Confident in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Able to adapt to different school environments and cater to the needs of diverse students.

Additional Information: To work with GSL Education, you must:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Hold a current DBS registered on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one.
  • Provide two professional references from within the last two years.
