Salary Scale: £83.33 - £90.00 per day

GSL Education Lincoln are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker for one of our client schools in Lincoln. This role requires someone with prior experience in providing high-quality support to students with diverse needs, helping to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. Your ability to foster positive relationships and promote student well-being will be key to your success in this role.

As a Support Worker, your role will involve working with students across different age groups, ensuring they receive the necessary support to engage in the curriculum and thrive in the school setting. You will be working closely with teachers, SEN coordinators (SENCOs), and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to students with additional needs.

Responsibilities of a Support Worker:

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Assist students in accessing the curriculum and developing social and emotional skills.
  • Implement personalised learning plans in collaboration with teachers and SEN coordinators (SENCOs).
  • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and staff.
  • Encourage independence and resilience in students.

Required Qualifications for a Support Worker:

  • Experience working as a support worker or in a similar role within a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting student welfare.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to different learning needs.
