Teaching Assistant
Location: Havant
Salary: £83.33 to £95 per day
Start Date: ASAP
GSL Education Southampton ,are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Havant.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students by providing essential classroom support and helping them achieve their best.
Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
- Assist students with their learning, ensuring they stay engaged and focused.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support as needed.
- Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Prepare and organise resources for lessons.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferred but not essential.
- A positive attitude and a passion for working with children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both the teacher and the students. Your dedication will help shape young minds and contribute to a nurturing school atmosphere.
