Physical Education Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Location: Ashington
Salary: £75-£110 per day

Responsibilities of a Physical Education Higher Level Teaching Assistant :
- Support the PE teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons.
- Lead small groups in physical activities, promoting teamwork and confidence.
- Assist with the planning and preparation of sports events and extracurricular activities.
- Encourage students to develop their fitness, skills, and sportsmanship.
- Work closely with staff to support students’ physical and emotional well-being.
- Provide tailored support to students with additional needs in PE sessions.
Requirements for a Physical Education Higher Level Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience in a similar role or working in an educational setting.
- A passion for physical education and promoting active lifestyles.
- Ability to lead groups and manage behaviour in a positive manner.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in sports coaching or education.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
