English Teacher

Location: Sheffield
Salary: £150 to £200 per day, depending on experience
Contract type: Long-term, Full-time

The Role:

As an English Teacher, you will be crucial in delivering high-quality English education to the school students. This position involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of the school.

The School:

GSL Education ‘South Yorkshire Branch’ are currently collaborating with an outstanding school located in Sheffield that is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team. This role comes with pride as you will be aiding students to achieve their full potential through tailored support and innovative teaching methods.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Possess a degree in English or a related field.
  • Have previous experience teaching English at the school level.
  • Have an understanding and compassionate approach to helping the students.
  • Have flexibility and adaptability to cover English.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
