Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and creativity.
- Provide tailored support to individual students and small groups, helping them overcome challenges and build confidence.
- Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages cooperation and respect among students.
- Keep track of student development and share insights with teachers to enhance learning experiences.
- Supervise students during breaks, outings, and extracurricular activities, ensuring a safe and fun environment.
Requirements of the Teaching Assistant:
- A genuine love for working with children and a desire to make a difference in their lives.
- The ability to connect with students, teachers, and parents effectively.
- A supportive approach to help students navigates their learning journeys.
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is beneficial but not required.

- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
