GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Winchester.
A friendly and supportive school in Winchester is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. In this role, you will assist students in their day-to-day learning, helping to foster a positive and engaging environment. You will work closely with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure students receive the guidance and support they need to reach their full potential. Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons by preparing materials and assisting with classroom activities.
- Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to provide individualised learning support.
- Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and report observations to the teaching team.
Requirements of the Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring towards students.
- A fully checkable work history.
- Flexibility to adapt to various teaching styles and environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
