Humanities Teacher
Location: Gateshead
Salary: £125 - £155 per day
Start Date: ASAP

As a Humanities Teacher, you will engage students in thought-provoking lessons, helping them explore different cultures, historical events, and the environment. The school is seeking someone who can create an inclusive and stimulating learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities as a Humanities Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in Humanities subjects (History, Geography, etc.).
  • Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work effectively.
  • Support students' academic growth and development.
  • Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection are maintained.

Requirements for Humanities Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • A clear DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
