We are currently seeking a proactive and passionate Learning Support Assistant (Wheelchair user) to join our team, supporting a Year 7 or Year 11 wheelchair user student in a secondary school setting.

Role Overview:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a wheelchair user in Year 7 or Year 11.
  • Personal care is required, though the student does not need full academic 1:1 support.
  • Support the use of specialist equipment (training will be provided).
  • When not offering 1:1 support, you will assist with general classroom activities and provide additional support as needed.
  • Two LSAs are required: one for a Year 7 pupil and one for a Year 11 pupil.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons.
  • Provide tailored support to students with a variety of learning needs.
  • Assist with personal care, including moving and handling with hoists.
  • Foster independence, confidence, and engagement in the classroom.

Start Date: ASAP 

Day Rate: £84-£95

Hours: 8:30-3:30 or 9:00-3:00
