Salary: £140 - £190 per day

GSL Education are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Teacher of Design & Technology to join schools in Sheffield as soon as possible.

As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will inspire students, guiding them through creative and technical aspects of the subject, while contributing to their academic growth.

Responsibilities of a Teacher of Design & Technology:

  • Teach Design & Technology according to the school's key stages.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to help students with their studies and projects.
  • Ensure lessons are interactive and encourage active student participation.
  • Manage the classroom effectively, fostering a positive learning environment.

Job Requirements for Design & Technology Teacher:

  • QTS or equivalent qualifications such as QTLS, PGCE, or ECT.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design & Technology or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Design & Technology Teacher is essential.
  • Strong lesson planning and classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
