SEMH Teaching Assistant (Secondary)
Location: Cramlington
Salary: £75 - £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities as a SEMH Teaching Assistant (Secondary):
- Support students with SEMH needs in a secondary school setting.
- Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored lessons.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to help students achieve their goals.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development in students.
- Work with other staff to implement behaviour plans and strategies.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching staff.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements for the SEMH Teaching Assistant (Secondary):
- Previous experience as a SEMH Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEMH needs.
- A caring, patient, and resilient nature.
- A valid DBS registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
