Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Barnet
Salary: £90 to £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: ASAP

GSL Education is seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a special school in Barnet. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is dedicated to supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them thrive in an inclusive learning environment. Prior experience in an SEN setting is preferable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group support to students with special needs and moderate learning difficulties.
  • Assist in implementing personalised learning plans tailored to students' unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive and nurturing environment.
  • Support the social, emotional, and academic development of the students in your care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an SEN setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and a compassionate approach to working with students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain strong professional boundaries.
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
