Position: KS2 Teacher
Salary Range: 30000 – 46535 per annum
Location: Bournemouth
Start Date: January

Contract type: Fixed term, Part-time

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher (part-time) in Bournemouth, who is passionate about delivering personalised, high-quality education to primary students. The role involves working closely with pupils, often providing one-to-one support. Prior experience working with children who have varied learning needs would be advantageous. This is a part-time opportunity, ideal for someone committed to making a positive difference in students' lives.

THE IDEAL KS2 Teacher:

  • Planning and delivering lessons that align with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil participation.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and setting goals for improvement.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs of students, ensuring all learners are challenged and supported.
  • Prepare pupils for assessments and ensure progress towards national curriculum standards.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a respectful and focused learning environment.
  • Communicating regularly with parents and guardians to discuss pupil progress and any concerns.

  • Type of work – Small group and 1:1 session.
  • Contract or position start date – Fixed term, January.   
  • Part-time.
  • Pay: 30000 – 46535 per annum
