Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £83.33 to £95 per day

Contract: Full-time and Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a friendly and caring Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful school in Eastleigh!
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to create a fun and supportive classroom environment. Whether you are helping in lessons or giving extra support to individual students, your work will make a big difference in their lives. Whether you are an experienced professional or new to the field, your energy and commitment will make a significant impact every day! Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
- Help teachers prepare lessons and set up fun classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who need a little extra help.
- Work with students with special needs to ensure everyone feels included.
- Keep track of how students are doing and share that with teachers.
- Encourage good behaviour and help create a positive atmosphere in the classroom.
- Supervise students during lunch and breaks to keep them safe and happy.
Requirements of the Teaching Assistant:
- A passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is beneficial but not required.
- Any relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are an advantage but not essential.
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
