We have a fantastic opportunity for you to gain experience working at a school in various roles such as Teaching Assistant (TA), Cover Supervisor, Learning Support Assistant (LSA), Exam Invigilator, and Supply Teaching Assistant (Supply TA). This opportunity is perfect for anyone looking to gain valuable experience in an educational setting while maintaining their academic commitments.
As a part of University Students, you will have the chance to support young learners, build your skills, and earn a competitive daily rate. Whether you’re looking to work a few days a week or need something that can adjust to your busy schedule, this role offers you that flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to teachers and students.
- Assist with educational activities and group work.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Offer one-on-one support to students who may need extra help.
- Support students with their learning process and monitoring exams as well.
- Step into a variety of teaching assistant roles along with teachers.
Requirements:
- You must be a university student or recent graduate.
- Flexibility to work time around your university schedule.
- Passionate about working with children and young people.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing classroom needs.
- A strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
- Ability to adapt to different roles such as Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Cover Supervisor, and Supply Teaching Assistant
- Previous experience in a school setting is helpful but not essential
