Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £83.33 to £95 per day
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time and Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic school in Hook.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital support to both teachers and students, helping to create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere. Whether working with small groups or assisting individual students, you will play a key part in helping them reach their full potential. Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
- Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and supporting classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them with their learning.
- Help maintain a positive and safe classroom environment for all students.
- Monitor and report on student progress to the teaching staff.
- Supervise students during school activities, including trips and break times.
Requirements of the Teaching Assistant:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for education and supporting student development.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to students' individual needs.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are beneficial but not required.
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
