Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £83.33 to £95 per day
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time and Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive school in Andover.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students, providing crucial support to ensure students achieve their full potential. Whether assisting in class activities, working with small groups, or supporting individuals, your contribution will have a lasting impact. Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
- Assist the class teacher with classroom activities and preparation of learning materials.
- Promote positive behaviour and help create a nurturing learning environment.
- Supervise students during breaks, trips, and extracurricular activities.
- Track and report students' progress to teaching staff.
Requirements of the Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
- A passion for supporting students and promoting their academic and personal development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are a plus.
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
