GSL Education are offering a range of exciting Graduate Roles in Schools available in Poole, offering you the chance to gain invaluable experience and positively impact students’ lives. No matter if you decide to become a Teaching Assistant (TA), Cover Supervisor, Learning Support Assistant (LSA), Exam Invigilator, or Supply Teaching Assistant (Supply TA), you will be an essential part of our client schools’ community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with lesson delivery, support student learning, and provide individual attention as needed.
- Oversee classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students stay focused and engaged.
- Work closely with students with special educational needs, helping them reach their full potential.
- Supervise students during exams, maintaining a fair and orderly environment.
- Provide support across various classrooms as required, offering flexibility and assistance throughout the school.
Requirements:
- A degree in any field is desirable or relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ, or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory.
- A passion for education and working with young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Flexibility and adaptability to different roles and responsibilities.
- An updated CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
