Location: Brentwood
Pay Scale: £100-£230 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time

GSL Education is seeking a dynamic Science Teacher to join our vibrant and forward-thinking school in Brentwood. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds and be part of a supportive and collaborative teaching environment.
The Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and stimulating lessons across all key stages, fostering curiosity and a love for science. You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing students' progress in accordance with the National Curriculum. Collaboration with other teachers to enhance cross-curricular links and student development will also be key to the role.
Key Responsibilities of the Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Inspire students to engage with Science, fostering their curiosity and passion for learning.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure their success.
- Support students in their preparation for assessments, exams, and coursework.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ensure effective classroom management, maintaining a positive and stimulating environment conducive to learning.
Essential Requirements of the Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science.
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level across KS3 and KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with all applicants required to undergo background checks, including an enhanced DBS.
