GSL Education is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a large primary academy in West Hull, providing long-term maternity cover in the Key Stage 2 (KS2) Year 6 classroom. This role offers an immediate start and a full-time teaching commitment for the remainder of the academic year. This particular school utilised GSL for their own recruitment, therefor the role may lead to a permanat oppertunity for the ideal applicant.
Role Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging, creative, and effective lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.
- Create a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom atmosphere where pupils are encouraged to thrive academically and socially.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of your students, ensuring all children are supported and challenged appropriately.

Key Information:
- Position: KS2 Teacher (Year 6) - Maternity Cover
- Location: West Hull
- Start Date: Immediate
- Duration: Full-time, long-term maternity cover
- Salary: Up to £230 per day, depending on experience
Candidate Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in KS2, particularly Year 6, is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to varying learning needs.
- A creative and engaging teaching style to keep pupils motivated and progressing.
