Pay Rate: £83.33 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome behavioural challenges to reach their full potential? GSL Education is seeking dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Support Assistants to work in secondary schools across Leicestershire.
About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students who face behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your role will involve de-escalating situations, promoting positive behaviour, and providing one-on-one or small-group support to help students stay engaged in their learning.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural needs
- Right to work in the UK
- A valid DBS certificate on the update service or the willingness to apply for one
- Patience, resilience, and strong communication skills
- A driving licence is beneficial as some schools may not be easily accessible via public transport
