Cover Supervisor
Location: Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £93 to £115 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time/ Part-time

About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of students’ education in the absence of their regular teachers. You will manage classroom behaviour, ensure students stay on task, and provide support where needed. This Cover Supervisor position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Ensure students remain focused and engaged with their work.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide support and assistance to students as needed.
- Follow lesson plans and ensure students complete their assigned tasks.
- Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school community.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards helping students.
- Basic knowledge of child development and educational practices.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is an advantage.
