Teaching Assistant
Location: Hook
Salary: £12.82 - £14 per hour

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in creating a positive learning environment, working closely with students to help them achieve their full potential. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, this role offers a rewarding and fulfilling experience.
Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
- Provide one-to-one or group support to students.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Support children with additional needs to ensure they are fully included in all classroom activities.
- Prepare learning materials and resources as required.
- Work with the teacher to assess and monitor students' progress.
To be a successful Teaching Assistant, you need:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
- A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certification would preferred but not mandatory.
- A flexible and positive attitude towards work.
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
