About the Role:
In this role, you’ll be working alongside a passionate Year 3 class teacher, supporting individual and small groups of students with their learning. You’ll play an essential part in guiding and encouraging children—especially those with special educational needs (SEN)—to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Year 3 teacher to deliver lessons and provide tailored support to students.
- Support SEN students by offering individualized attention and small-group assistance.
- Help children develop confidence and self-esteem by listening to them and developing appropriate strategies for growth.
- Use your creativity and enthusiasm to help children reach their full potential.
- Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for all students.
What We’re Looking For:
We want a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about education and ready to make a real difference. The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant.
- Be skilled in supporting children with SEN.
- Have a basic understanding of childhood development and strategies to support children of different ages.
- Be a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be proactive, patient, and committed to creating a positive learning experience.
